ABOUT THERAPY SHMERAPY

Therapy Shmerapy is a grassroots, national peer mental health service built on the reality of lived experience, with a fully neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ identifying practitioner team!

They work from a Mad Pride, Liberation Psychology, and Decolonial Psychology lens, focusing on supporting people who feel tired, angry, or distressed by the world around them.

They usually only appear via telehealth, but are making an appearance at The Coven Expo to help support our intersecting communities on the day, and share resources for accessible mental health support in our Sensory Space.

WHAT IS A SENSORY SPACE?

A sensory space is an area dedicated to providing a calm and controlled environment so that individuals can regulate their sensory input. This can help people recharge and reset, if in an overwhelming environment.
